The Einhell Professional cordless wall chaser TP-MA 36/30 Li BL - Solo cuts horizontal and vertical grooves and channels for pipes, conduits, etc. into masonry free from the hassle of cables. This wall chaser is a part of the powerful and flexible Power X-Change family and requires two 18 V batteries for operation. The tool is powered by an Einhell PurePOWER brushless motor. This brushless motor offers more power and a longer running time than conventional carbon brush motors. Once you register online, the brushless motor has a 10-year warranty. Using two parallel 125 mm cutting discs ( 22.2 mm bore), it makes precise cuts or grooves in masonry. The steplessly adjustable groove depth adjustment and the individually adjustable cutting width up to a maximum of 30 mm offer impressive flexibility to create narrow or wide grooves. The soft start and pull cut ensure safe operation. The overload protection helps ensure the durability of the tool, while the cutting disc guard protects the user. The guide roller and the auxiliary handle improve handling comfort by providing a firm, secure grip. Mark showing the position of the cutting discs allows the tool to be precisely positioned to ensure dimensionally accurate cuts. The wall chaser also features a spindle lock, which makes it easy to change the disc using a hexagon socket wrench. The extraction adapter means the wall chaser is compatible with Einhell wet/dry vacuum cleaners. It comes with a storage pouch for clean and safe transport, as well as four diamond cutting discs so that you can start your project right away. The battery and charger are not included. These are available separately.
FAQs
There’s plenty to think about when choosing an Angle Grinder. The first factor is the disc diameter; larger discs can make deeper cuts.
Then consider how much power you might need. Higher wattage tools provide more power and can therefore cut denser material. Then think about speed; some grinders operate at fixed speed and others have variable speed control. Being able to vary the working speed of your grinder enables you to carry out more delicate work.
Another factor is whether the tool is equipped with safety features, such as a Paddle Switch and Soft Start.
Brushed motors use carbon brushes to transfer power from the fixed part of the motor to the rotor. This creates a reliable and relatively inexpensive motor, but brushed motors do require regular maintenance, in order to either clean the brushes or replace them as they wear out. A brushless motor, by contrast, uses a magnet mounted on the rotor to generate the power and electrical switching to perform the function carried out by the brushes. The additional complexity of the motor’s working means that brushless motors are usually more expensive than brushed.
The work you’ll be doing with your grinder will influence which voltage you consider. If your grinder is going to be used for construction, you may want to think about choosing a Makita 40v or DeWalt 54v tool, but 18v variations are also available.
