The Einhell Professional cordless cut-off tool TP-CO 18/76-C Li BL-Solo is a real all-rounder for demanding trade workers. The small and light tool separates metal, tiles and stone quicker and easier than many other larger angle grinders. The 18 V cut-off grinder is a member of the Einhell Power X-Change family and can be combined with all batteries and charging devices of the system family. The tool is powered by an Einhell brushless motor. This brushless motor offers more power and a longer running time than conventional carbon brush motors. Once you register online, the brushless motor has a 10-year warranty. The cut-off tool can be utilised with cutting discs with a diameter of 76 mm. The cutting depth can be adjusted without tools for material-specific work up to maximum 16 mm. The easy to handle cut-off grinder is equipped with sensitively regulatable rpm speed electronics and an integrated LED light for optimum visibility of the cutting area. To adapt to any working position, the rotatable cutting disc guard can be subsequently adjusted quickly and without additional tools. An integrated dust protection grille safeguards the interior of the cut-off grinder against soiling, contamination as well as dirt and, in combination with the intelligent air ducting, increase the service life. The grilles can be removed for easy cleaning. Maximum safety in use is ensured by the restart protection and the motor brake, which ensures the cutting disc comes to a quick stop. To exchange the cutting disc, a hexagon socket wrench for the spindle lock is stowed directly on the device. The Einhell Professional cordless cut-off tool is supplied with a diamond cutting disc for tiles and three thin cutting discs for metal. The battery and charging device are not included. These are available separately.
FAQs
There’s plenty to think about when choosing an Angle Grinder. The first factor is the disc diameter; larger discs can make deeper cuts.
Then consider how much power you might need. Higher wattage tools provide more power and can therefore cut denser material. Then think about speed; some grinders operate at fixed speed and others have variable speed control. Being able to vary the working speed of your grinder enables you to carry out more delicate work.
Another factor is whether the tool is equipped with safety features, such as a Paddle Switch and Soft Start.
Brushed motors use carbon brushes to transfer power from the fixed part of the motor to the rotor. This creates a reliable and relatively inexpensive motor, but brushed motors do require regular maintenance, in order to either clean the brushes or replace them as they wear out. A brushless motor, by contrast, uses a magnet mounted on the rotor to generate the power and electrical switching to perform the function carried out by the brushes. The additional complexity of the motor’s working means that brushless motors are usually more expensive than brushed.
The work you’ll be doing with your grinder will influence which voltage you consider. If your grinder is going to be used for construction, you may want to think about choosing a Makita 40v or DeWalt 54v tool, but 18v variations are also available.
